Description
The maintenance section N08.60 between Interlaken Ost and Brienz will be completely renovated from January 2021 to December 2024. The main focus will be on renovating the tunnels, with complete night-time closures of the road between 8 pm and 6 am, and on reinforcing the structures and bridges on the open section, where a transport service will be required. Locally the roadway will be reduced from two lanes (two-way traffic) to one lane on the open section. Traffic signals will be installed in each of these areas. The traffic department will ensure that road users obey the red light. In addition, the traffic department will ensure that in the event of an incident, the emergency lane for emergency services can be cleared within 15 minutes.The services to be provided by the contractor are defined in the specifications.
