Description

The object and scope of this contract is defined in clause 3 of the Technical Specifications, this consists of "the execution of the works and supplies contained in the project entitled "Low Emission Zone ZBE", financed with funds from the PRTR (Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan).This Low Emission Zone involves the establishment of an access control system and possible restriction of access to certain vehicles due to their polluting emissions, with the purpose of improving the quality of the air we breathe in our city and, consequently, also improving people's health, as well as reducing the noise generated by vehicles.The plan to implement a low emission zone will also include important actions and projects that contribute to the mitigation of climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, promote modal shift towards more sustainable modes of transport and boost the efficiency of our city's transport system.
Establishment of a Low Emission Zone (ZBE) in the urban area of Elche, in order to comply with the obligation and commitment of Elche in the fight against climate change and atmospheric pollution. The purpose of this contract is the execution of the works, supplies and services contained in the project entitled "Low Emission Zone ZBE".This Low Emission Zone involves the establishment of an access control system and possible restriction of access to certain vehicles due to their polluting emissions, with the purpose of improving the quality of the air we breathe in our city and, consequently, also improving people's health, as well as reducing the noise generated by vehicles.The work is included within the Program of aid to municipalities for the implementation of Low Emission Zones and the digital and sustainable transformation of urban transport in the framework of the Recovery Plan Transformation and Resilience - ZBEMRR/22/00050."
