Description

The purpose of the contract is to carry out the work as defined by the plan(s) submitted, the attached quantity survey and the various reference contract documents. Track and signalling works.It comprises, in principal order- the laying of rails, tracks, switches and crossings,- earthworks,- laying of track foundations,- laying of rails, tracks, switches and crossings,- thermite welding,- stress adjustment,- tamping, levelling and lining of tracks and switches and crossings,- removal and installation of cable ducts,- logistics services,- transport and removal of excavated material and various materials,- adaptation of track alignment,- removal and installation of signalling equipment,- excavation work,- concrete work (with supplies),- various works.Catenary works (non-exhaustive list).It includes, in main order- design and dimensioning of the metal and catenary tilting equipment required for the execution of the works;- excavation works;- reinforcement works for foundation blocks (with supplies);- laying of 300 mm2 feeder cables in channels;- installation of anchor posts (with supplies);- installation of two-stay brackets (with supplies);- installation or replacement of tensioning devices, switches;- switch support equipment (ladders, platforms);- work to unroll catenaries with installation of metal equipment;- work to install anchors, insulators and connections;- work to modify tilting;- work to shift catenaries;- work to remove electrical sections and insulators;- removal of two-stay brackets, tensioning devices, switches with removal of metal equipment;- removal of catenary lines, anchors, connections and metal equipment;- personnel and logistical services;- miscellaneous works.Various ECFM works for the heating of switches (VCAW).it includes, in main order:- removal of cables,- removal of existing transformers and junction boxes,- removal of gutters which are no longer needed or damaged,- transport of all these materials to the place indicated by the managing official,- laying the necessary or replaced gutters,- cable pulling.Civil engineering work, which includes, in main order:- demolition of the deck, abutments and wing walls of the overpass located at 42,810 km;- reprofiling of the slopes of the abutments and wing walls;- demolition of road surfaces (roadway and sidewalks) in the work area and securing the roadway at the right-of-way of the work to be demolished.
