Description
Senate Bill (S.B.) 24, 88th Legislature, Regular Session, 2023, added Chapter 54 to Title 2, Subtitle B, of the Texas Health and Safety Code, which establishes the Thriving Texas Families (TTF) program as a continuation of the Alternatives to Abortion program . The purpose of the TTF program is to facilitate the operation of a statewide support network that provides community outreach, consultation, and care coordination for women with an unexpected pregnancy. Pursuant to Section 54.007 of the Texas Health and Safety Code, HHSC is required to contract with an External Third Party to conduct periodic Impact Evaluations to measure the impacts of TTF program services on Clients and to submit an Impact Evaluation Report on measured performance outcomes.
