The work to be carried out involves intensive maintenance of the roadside greenery (tree beds) in the inner city area as shown in the appendix. Larger areas of FB 67 such as Waldthausenpark or playground areas such as Hirschlandplatz are not included here. Maintenance care includes hoeing, weeding and cleaning 2x/week of tree grates and small areas of less than 10m2, partly in the pedestrian zone. The areas are cleared of weeds, leaves and other debris. Furthermore, garbage from planting areas is collected and disposed of (2x/week). The service period extends from the beginning of June 2024 up to and including September 2024. The 2-weekly services mentioned are average values and are adapted to the pressure of use in summer and timed accordingly more closely and stretched further in winter. Watering cycles are also included. From the beginning of April to the end of September, 305 individual plants are watered once a week. This is adapted to the respective site conditions in summer. Shaded areas are stretched out, sunny areas are watered more frequently. Damage to trees, including the root zone, caused by the contractor's own fault in the course of the execution work shall be borne by the contractor and must be reported immediately. In the event of damage to trees, planting stock and vegetation areas, a publicly appointed surveyor may be called in at the contractor's expense to determine compensation in accordance with the material value method. Maintenance work should therefore be carried out during this time if possible.
