Description
The subject of the procedure is the procurement of a ball mill for the contamination-free preparation of solid samples for the analysis of trace elements with an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, or an ICP-MS, or other analyzers. As the sample quantities can vary in size, different sized grinding vessels, including different sized grinding balls, are required. The ball mill, including accessories, must meet the following specifications/parameters:- Speed: variable, at least between 100 and 650 min-1,- Final fineness: up to 0.1 µm,- Grinding programs: at least 10 standard grinding programs can be stored,- Dry and wet grinding must be possible,- Voltage: 230 V, 50/60 Hz,- Power failure: The device must be secured against power failureCompatible grinding bowls- Size: 50 ml and- Size: 500 mlSuitable grinding balls:- Consisting of: Agate- ø 20 mm,- ø 30 mm- ø 7 mmInstallation, commissioning, training
