Description

The state capital of Magdeburg, represented by the municipal building management company Kommunales Gebäudemanagement (KGM), is planning a fundamental modernization of the Stadthalle Magdeburg.
The basic objectives of the modernization are

- Upgrading the existing listed building in terms of its amenity and usage qualities
and utilization qualities
- Ensuring compliance with the safety requirements of the building regulations,
particularly with regard to fire protection
- Reconstruction of the building cubature in line with the original design idea
- Optimization of the town hall's management options, in particular through
- Improving the delivery situation for the stage of the Great Hall
- Improving the visibility of the stage in the Great Hall
- Renewing the building services and event technology
- Expansion of the range of flexibly usable event and conference rooms
- Renovation of the kitchen areas
- Energy upgrade of the building envelope, taking into account the requirements
