The sports hall complex at Kopenhagener Straße 5a\/b consists of two interconnected type
connected GT 60 L sports halls, which were built around 1969\/70.
were built. It is now over 50 years old and has never been modernized and has considerable structural and fire protection deficiencies. The technical equipment is outdated and the thermal and weather protection is no longer guaranteed. The hall equipment is inadequate for the planned competition operations and disabled access is only partially possible. In terms of sustainability, a comprehensive refurbishment of the halls is therefore unavoidable.
The planned construction measures are to be implemented in 4 phases:
1st BA: School sports field on the south side incl. access road to Kopenhagener Str. 5a\/b
2nd BA: Renovation and extension of hall 1 (eastern hall) incl. access roads and parking spaces
3rd BA: Renovation and extension of hall 2 (western hall) incl. access roads and parking spaces
4th BA: Outdoor facilities baseball pitch

Following the completion of the first two construction phases, the third construction phase now involves the refurbishment of Hall 2 (Kopenhagener Str. 5a).
