The overall "Training Center HETIII" project forms a core building block for modern and digital teaching/training ("medical education 4.0") and enables the continuous structured training and further education of junior doctors. The innovative methodological concept provides for the learning and consolidation of practical clinical skills under real conditions using training objects and simulations. As a result, essential patient safety issues can be trained for medicine using (flight) simulators, similar to those used in aviation. The new building contains simulation laboratories with observation rooms, hybrid operating theatres, patient rooms, examination areas, offices as well as meeting and conference rooms, and the specialist planning services for the open space facilities are being put out to tender for the overall project, with the task of combining the complex requirements for the outdoor space into a holistic concept and developing solutions for detailed areas that take all technical requirements into account. In close cooperation with the other (specialist) planners involved in the construction project, all interfaces are to be considered and integrated into the open space concept, requiring specialist planner services of LPH 1-3 and 5-8 basic services as well as special services of LPH 7, which are to be commissioned in stages.
