The NRW State Agency for Nature, Environment and Consumer Protection (LANUV) operates stationary cable crane systems (SKA) for hydrological purposes (Section 89 LWG NRW) at state gauging stations. These are used to record flow rates at gauging stations, including the recording of flood discharges.

Following this year's TÜV inspection, significant defects were found in a total of 16 systems.
These include defects in 6 electrical-hydraulic and 10 mechanical cable crane systems.
In order to ensure continued operation and the safety of personnel on the relevant cable crane systems, the defects must be rectified immediately by an external contractor.

A total of 2 lots will be formed for this purpose:

Lot 1: Electrical-hydraulic cable crane systems (6)
Lot 2: Mechanical cable crane systems (10)
