Description

The municipality of Rauen intends to redesign the village green (e.g. wildflower meadow with benches) on parcel 185 (924 m²) and parcel 1019 (7267 m²) between Chausseestraße and Saarower Straße on the site of the "Old School". A lively ensemble is to be created in conjunction with the inner courtyard of the "Alte Schule". This involves a total area of 8,191 m².Design measures for the outdoor areas:- Outdoor terrace as a connecting element to the new community center, old school, inner courtyard - Green concept as a border around the community center and the old school with shrub beds and new planting of 5 deciduous trees - Soil improvement measures to protect the soil from drying out and recompaction by creating new vegetation cover - Creation of a wildflower meadow in the northern Anger area - Furnishing with street furniture for the outdoor area (seating blocks, benches, drinking fountain in the inner courtyard, e-bike charging station)- Integration of existing boulders - Paving work
