The municipality of Nordkirchen is pursuing the goal of more climate-friendly mobility. The municipality of Nordkirchen would like to expand the existing mobility services and provide citizens in all three districts with a car-sharing vehicle. By setting up a station-based car sharing service, the municipality would like to gain experience and test how such a service can be established in rural areas. Furthermore, two different location models (in a central location and in a young residential area) will be used to test whether a location is primarily suitable for such a service and has higher user numbers. The exact locations can be found in the attached site plans. The car sharing vehicle at the train station in Capelle is a special feature. The aim here is to involve the companies located there as potential anchor users. At the locations in Nordkirchen, in addition to bookings by local residents, rentals by students are also to be expected, and the contract term for all vehicles will end three years after the start of the contract.service description:A car sharing service is to be set up in the municipality of Nordkirchen. In the district of Nordkirchen, an additional car sharing service with two vehicles is planned in a "young" residential area, which is directly adjacent to two other young residential areas. The entire car sharing fleet is to be fully electric, with an electric charging station already available at three of the five locations. The missing e-charging stations will be installed by the municipality of Nordkirchen. For three years, any shortfalls (monthly minimum turnover - monthly actual turnover) will be compensated by the client. The client receives any additional revenue from the bidder. The turnover must be presented transparently to the client on a monthly basis.
