The BC Coroners Service is seeking Contractors to provide the Body Storage Services or Body Storage Services and Toxicology Drawing Services on an if, as and when requested, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week “on-call” basis, which may include multiple Call Outs in a single twenty-four hour period, in order to enable Coroners to focus on their primary function of the investigation of sudden and unexpected deaths.The BC Coroners Service is unable to reliably predict future demand given the number of variables outside of its control, including but not limited to the number of deaths that occur at hospitals and the volume and location of deaths that must be investigated by a Coroner.For clarity, the BC Coroners Service makes no representations or guarantees with respect to the number or value of Call Outs that may be issued to a Contractor over the term of the Standing Arrangement.
