Description
The DLR Institute of Maritime Energy Systems is planning test facilities to conduct experimental research into components of alternative energy systems. To this end, the institute is building both a land-based energy laboratory and a research vessel on which technologies are to be tested in a real maritime application environment. The LT-PEM fuel cell to be procured here will first be used in the laboratory and then on board the research vessel. The fuel cell system, consisting of a low-temperature polymer electrolyte fuel cell + associated subsystems, which will be procured as part of this tendering procedure, will be a fundamental component of the DLR Institute of Maritime Energy Systems' research in the future.
