The construction project involves the upgrading \/ general refurbishment and extension of the Carl- Friedrich von- Weizsäcker Gymnasium at Karl- Mücher-Weg 2 in 40880 Ratingen. As part of the overall refurbishment of the site, a new extension was built before the existing buildings were renovated and is already in use. The extension has three storeys and is connected to the existing building via a glazed transition on the first floor. In order to be able to put the new building into operation, the site's energy supply was redesigned and a new 630 kVA transformer was installed at the Schützenstraße access road. This transformer feeds into the newly installed low-voltage main distribution board NSHV (year of construction 2021\/22) in the technical basement of the main building. The central units for the refurbishment of the existing building have already been newly installed in the technical basement of the west section in a total of 4 successive construction phases (installed, programmed, SV acceptance and currently in regular operation): - Security lighting by CEAG - Data network - Server cabinets with fiber optic connections to the data cabinets in the areas - Fire alarm system by Hekatron, connected to the new building system, which is connected to the fire department, where the first access with FSE + FSD is also located. - PA system from THUM EAD, Düsseldorf - Central clock/ master clock from Bürk
