Description
The combined sewage drainage network of the student village in Hürth-Efferen is lower than the public sewer system and requires a pumping station to discharge the combined sewage into the public sewer system.the existing pumping station was flooded during a heavy rainfall event and then only provisionally repaired.The following measures are planned for the existing structure:- Dismantling of the existing internal maintenance access between the drying room and pump sump- Dismantling of existing technical equipment- New maintenance access for the pump sump (access from outside)- Replacement of the pressure relief shaft with a larger, compliant channel- Replacement of the pipe penetrations
