Description

The Brandenburg IT Service Provider (ZIT-BB) is the central IT service provider of the Brandenburg state administration. Its extensive portfolio of tasks includes the planning, management and operation of the technical infrastructure of the highest state authorities and their subordinate authorities and institutions as well as the coordination and support of IT procedures and interdepartmental cross-sectional procedures. ZIT-BB currently supports around 18,000 users of the Brandenburg state administration from its central location in Potsdam. Over the next few years, further IT technology and applications of the individual state authorities will be successively transferred to ZIT-BB. With the transfer of technology to the responsibility of ZIT-BB, various services will be managed by ZIT-BB and thus migrated to the central structure. Among other things, the ZIT-BB operates state administration procedures that are available to the citizens of Brandenburg and third parties involved in the process. In addition to ongoing operations, the focus is on the following areas: - Information security and CERT - Integration and consolidation of IT procedures - Planning, introduction and operation of new IT procedures - Planning, expansion and consolidation of procedure-independent IT infrastructure - Migration of public authority IT (basic services) to the ZIT-BB data center - Consulting services for ZIT-BB customers Projects on the above-mentioned focus areas can be carried out at ZIT-BB. Consulting services may also be required for projects in these areas. This EU-wide tender is intended to procure an IT security consultant as coordinator for several IT security projects. These projects will deal with the further development of the IT infrastructure with regard to the requirements of information security in various subject areas.
