The administrative library (VwB) of the state capital Potsdam (LHP) is the central procurement facility for relevant media and specialist literature as well as specialist information for the departments throughout the administration. the individual departments report their requirements to the VwB, whereupon the VwB, as representative of the LHP, procures the corresponding orders on the market. As a rule, this is done with a fixed supplier by means of a framework agreement. the future contractor must have a correspondingly broad and deep range of media and specialist literature to cover the needs of a municipal administration. Further details on the product range, delivery conditions or services to be provided are listed in the service description and the appendices. The administration library acts as a representative of the LHP on the procurement market. It assumes the function of procuring the required media and corresponding specialist literature for LHP's departments on the market and / or making them available to the departments. Due to the expiry of previous contracts, a new invitation to tender is necessary, with the aim of concluding framework agreements with suppliers for the lots in order to ensure the needs-based procurement and supply of media and specialist literature for LHP.
