Description

Dublin City Council is inviting tender submissions from market operators for the management of three markets. The contract will be for a 1 year period commencing April 2023, with an option to extend up to a maximum of 1 further year. These Markets take place during the week and amost every weekend during the year, a total of 50 weeks per year.
. The markets are:
• Temple Bar Food Market on Meeting House Square and Curved Street
• Temple Bar Book Market on Temple Bar Square (currently Barnado Square)
• The Designer Mart on Cow’s Lane.
Each of the markets offer an alternative way of shopping, providing the customer with an opportunity to buy quality produce and to meet the producer, bookseller or designer and speak directly with them about their unique purchase. In addition, the markets are positioned in an area that is one of Dublin’s premier visitor’s locations and attracts a large footfall of both local and tourist alike. They enhance the public amenities of the locations of the markets, and provide a platform for producers/merchants to trade in such prestigious settings.
