Description

1) Planned extension building (new building): In front of the school building, on an unused green area not available to the pupils, a one-storey extension building is planned, which will be connected to the old building by a transparent connecting corridor and will provide additional classrooms and rooms for division lessons. The ground plan can be designed in such a way that all requirements for inclusion and contemporary learning can be met and optimal conditions created for the pupils. The transparent single-storey extension is reduced in design in front of the solid brick building by its cubature and materiality. It also provides a central view of the existing building. The new building will have a green roof so that the pupils can still see a green area from the classrooms on the ground floor and upper floor.2) Conversion work on the existing building / extension of the Mensa: The central foyer of the existing building cannot currently be used by the pupils due to the existing space situation without spatial separation to the necessary corridor and staircase. it is planned to make a spatial separation and to enlarge the foyer by an extension so that it can be used both as a canteen and as free space in free hours. furthermore, it is planned to convert rooms. For example, all administrative functions such as the teachers' room, school management and secretariat, medical room, etc. are to be located in the central area of the existing building on the first floor. These rooms are currently used as classrooms, but due to their size and layout they are very unsuitable for this purpose. The construction of an elevator and an external staircase is planned on the west façade. The elevator will allow barrier-free access to all floors of the existing building and the new staircase will provide a second necessary escape route for the west wing of the existing building, which is currently only possible using rescue equipment from the fire brigade.
