Project Scope of Work: The work under this contract covers the furnishing of all labor, material, tools, equipment, plant, and supervision required to fully Rehabilitate the North Talbot Earth Dams and landscape the Talbot Dam. The work involves the replacement of the existing roadway, installation of new steel sheet piles, removal of the gabion basket and replace with rip-rap, and the landscaping of the Talbot Dam. The Talbot Dam and Talbot Earth Dams are accessible from Regional 50 Road and is located approximately 7 km west of the Town of Bolsover, Ontario.
The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within forty (40) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
PROJECT VALUE:
The estimated cost for this project is between $1,000,001 to $5,000,000 (HST extra).
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be a site visit on August, 11th, 2020 at 11:30 AM EST. Interested bidders are to meet at approximately 11:00 AM EST, on August 11th, 2020. The site visit will be organized at Lock 41 and transportation to the site will not be provided. Interested bidders should register with the Contracting Officer, Zobia Essa at Zobia.Essa@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca, by Monday, August 10th, 11:00 AM to confirm attendance.

Visitors should dress according to outdoor weather conditions and are required to wear safety boots, hard hats, face masks, as well as a reflective vest as a minimum personal safety apparel.
The representative of the bidder will be required to announce who is in attendance so that the Site Visit Attendance Sheet can be completed by the Departmental Representative.
Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
NOTE: As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the following precautions are mandatory during the site visit:
social distancing, maintaining a minimum of 2 meters between individuals;
bidders are limited to one representative only to reduce the size of the gathering;
avoid social greetings (i.e. handshakes);
Wear a mask at all times while outside of vehicle; and
conduct a self-screening assessment and do not attend the site visit if you answer yes to any of the screening questions below.

Do you have a cough, fever, sore throat, difficulty breathing, or any other new or worsening symptoms?
Have you travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days?
Have you had close contact with a person with acute respiratory illness who has travelled anywhere outside of Canada within the last 14 days before their illness?

Do not attend the site visit if you answered yes to any of the questions, and contact your health care provider for advice.
