Engineering survey
The Institute of Chemistry of the Chemnitz University of Technology is to be accommodated on the Reichenhainer Straße campus in the future within the scope of a major construction project (GBM). The subject of the planned contract is the services of the engineering surveying of the construction-accompanying surveying in accordance with Annex 1 Number 1.4 HOAI, for the construction of a technical building with a total usable area (NUF1-6) of approx. 8,290 m² and other uses (NUF 7) of 1,065m² plus technical areas of approx. 2,500m². Details on the scope of services can be found in the contract. The services will be commissioned in stagesThe expansion of inter- and transdisciplinary teaching and research will play a central role in the field of natural sciences in the coming years. For this reason, the establishment of the Institute of Chemistry in the vicinity of the Institute of Physics as well as the engineering faculties on the campus area Reichenhainer Straße is mandatory.The site is located south of the Central Lecture Hall and Seminar Building of the TU Chemnitz and is fully owned by the Free State of Saxony. The parcel 860 is located in the Altchemnitz district. The area measures approx. 9,100m². The terrain to be built on slopes from 334m above sea level to about 329m above sea level. The property is located outside of nature reserves, water protection areas and flood plains. The open area, currently overgrown with shrubs and trees, is lined by the street Reichenhainer Straße.32.8 million gross was calculated for the construction project for KG 300 and 37.7 million gross for KG 400 on the basis of the Qualified Statement of Requirements (as of 07/2020). The construction measure is subject to compliance with the funding conditions within the "Infrastructure at Universities" program.
