Description

The purpose of this DAS is to not lawfully purchase external doctors in training (ANIOS) with as little administrative burden as possible for UWV as well as agencies and/or doctors. This will enable the UWV to continue to provide a uniform and high-quality service in the field of social-medical assessments of citizens who claim disability benefit. The UWV wishes to provide the service in an enlightened tendering procedure for a DPS and to conclude a further contract for each ANIOS to be deployed. It is expected that more than thirty (30) doctors (ANIOSs) will be selected, via an agency, and with whom a further agreement will subsequently be concluded. The exact number of doctors will be able to change over the course of the DPS, as the DPS remains open to new agencies and agencies that no longer wish to provide services to UWV can deregister. We will award contracts on the basis of predetermined suitability requirements and minimum quality requirements (training, registration). Specific contracts are specified for each contract via the DPS on the basis of award criteria to be drawn up and the assessment method to be used. Price is not taken into account when selecting agencies, because UWV provides a fixed maximum hourly rate. The contract duration of the further agreement with as many suitable agencies as possible as of 1.1.2019 is set for a period of four (4) months, with a possible extension for one (1) month each.
