Supply of concrete products for rehabilitation work on rue des Pins and a section of chemin des Falaises

The Ville de La Malbaie wishes to undertake the rehabilitation of rue des Pins and a section of chemin des Falaises. To enable it to carry out this work, the Ville de La Malbaie is requesting bids for the supply of concrete products. The work will be carried out in-house, i.e. by Ville de La Malbaie employees. Material descriptions and quantities are described in the tender document. This call for tenders is eligible for financial assistance under the Quebec government's Municipal Water Infrastructure Program (PRIMEAU 2023).
Tender documents describing the conditions relevant to this call for tenders can be obtained in electronic format on the SÉAO electronic tendering system (www.seao.ca ) or by calling 1-866-669-7326. Obtaining documents is subject to the fees charged by this organization.
The Ville de La Malbaie assumes no responsibility for the incompleteness, errors or omissions of any written notices or documents transmitted electronically. Consequently, all bidders must ensure that they obtain all documents related to this call for tenders before submitting their bids.
Tenders must be submitted no later than April 5, 2024, before 10:00 a.m., to the attention of Marie-Catherine Bégin-Drolet, Director, Urban Infrastructures and Environment, at the address indicated in the documents.
Unless otherwise specified, this call for tenders is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and when applicable to the Agreement on Trade and Cooperation between Quebec and Ontario (ATCQO).
The Ville de La Malbaie does not undertake to accept the lowest bid, or any of the bids received, and declines all liability to any bidder in the event of rejection of all bids. The awarding of the tender is conditional upon the Ville de la Malbaie obtaining approval of a borrowing by-law from the Ministère des Affaires municipales et de l'Habitation du Québec. The contract is awarded at the sole discretion of the municipal council, and the Ville de La Malbaie cannot be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its council.
A bid security of 10% of the bid price (taxes included) must accompany the bid.
