The Société de développement de la Baie-James (the Corporation) wishes to receive bids for the call for tenders designated in title.
ONLY SERVICE PROVIDERS WITH AN ESTABLISHMENT IN THE JAMES BAY TERRITORY AND WHO MEET THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE CONTRACT.
By establishment, the Company means:
"A place where the service provider operates on a permanent basis, clearly identified with its name and accessible during normal business hours. »
Service providers interested in submitting a bid can obtain the bid documents through the Electronic Bidding System (E-Bidding System (E-Bid) at www.seao.ca or by contacting E-Bidding between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive at 1 800 363-0910 (toll-free) or 514 745 5720.
Service providers must submit their bids by 2:00 p.m. on June 21, 2019, in a sealed envelope marked as follows:

His name and address;
The name and address of the recipient, i.e. Ms. Chantal Brassard at the address mentioned below;
The mention "Submission";
The title and project number, "Supply and delivery of petroleum products to the camp at km 257 and the roadhouse at km 381 of the James Bay highway - Call for tenders SD19-5020-5".

Tenders submitted will be opened in public as from 2.01 p.m. on 21 June 2019 at the same address.
A bid security in the form of:
security and representing 10% of the total amount of the bid including taxes
or
certified cheque, money order or bank draft payable to SDBJ representing 5% of the total amount of the bid including taxes.
No faxed bids will be accepted. The Société is not responsible for recovering bids at the bus terminal or for delays in mail delivery.
The service provider is responsible for ensuring that its bid is submitted to the Company's office before the deadline set at the following address:

The Company does not undertake to accept any of the bids received, particularly when it considers that the prices are too high or disproportionate or do not reflect a fair price. The Company is not required to provide reasons for the acceptance or rejection of any offer.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Certification by Revenu Québec
It is strongly suggested that the service provider apply for a Revenu Québec certificate as soon as possible in order to resolve any potential problems related to obtaining it before the deadline set for the receipt of bids. Indeed, section 2.7 of the instructions to service providers, which requires that the Revenu Québec certificate be held by service providers, provides that the certificate is valid until the end of the three-month period following the month in which it was issued. In addition, the certificate must not have been issued after the deadline for receipt of bids.
