Canada - Sub-Trade Contractors for the Beaver Lake Dam – 2024 Works

Project Name: Beaver Lake Dam – 2024 Works Project Description:  The Beaver Lake Dam 2024 works will include: building a cofferdam from locally sourced materials in-front of the existing dam; construction a siphon to maintain stream flows around the cofferdam; blasting below the cofferdam to remove some high spots prior to construction; tree clearing for pit access and around the main dam per drawings; installation of turbidity curtains for duration of in-water works, and bubble curtains during blasting.   Construction Manager: Chandos Construction Ltd is the Construction Manager on this Project (as defined in CCDC5B) working as Construction Manager for the District of Lake Country (the Project Owner) under the CCDC-5B Construction Management for Services and Work Agreement.  The District of Lake Country shall have no contractual relationship whatsoever with any potential supplier or subtrade contractor that submits a quotation to the process detailed herein.  This quotation process shall be conducted solely by Chandos Construction Ltd, and all inquiries shall be directed to the Chandos Construction contact named herein.   Request for Sub-Trade Quotations: Acting in its capacity as Construction Manager for the Project, Chandos Construction invites quotations for performance of the following sub-trade works for the Beaver Lake Dam – 2024 Works: Material testing Quality Verification Engineer Survey Tree Falling Civil Works Blasting   Further details on the subtrade works required, and how to submit a quotation can be obtained by downloading the Chandos Construction Ltd bid documents from the following location: https://app.buildingconnected.com/public/591386b7ce945d0a00d23f3e/projects/65c3c92ae8f0ff00422c7a37   All inquiries, including request for a site visit, must be directed to: Matthrew Blais (mblais@chandos.com)   Proposal Format:  The preferred method of bid submission shall be through the Building Connected portal (per the link provided above).  Alternatively, bids may be submitted by hand, as per the details provided in the bid package.
