France - Study to define the location and size OF structural carpooling areas in the extended urban area OF Rennes

Description

This study is part of the "Metropolitan Cooperation Contract", part of the Metropolitan Innovation Pact signed between Rennes Métropole, the State, the Brittany Region and the Ille-et-Vilaine Department, dedicated to intelligent mobility.

In line with the Schéma directeur d'aménagement et de gestion du trafic (SDAGT) for the Rennes ring road, and with a view to developing reserved lanes for public transport and car-sharing on access roads to the heart of the metropolis, Rennes Métropole, together with the EPCIs, the Region and the Département, would like to undertake a study to define the most appropriate locations and dimensions for future car-sharing areas offering a level of service and capacity consistent with the challenges of developing car-sharing.
