Description
The contracting authority is Oslo Municipality, c/o the Agency for Urban Environment. The procurement of 3-BYM-2022 operation and maintenance of municipal lighting and electrical installations is an open tender contest.The Agency for Urban Environment is responsible for Oslo Municipality's obligations concerning urban environment, including the management and operation of Oslo Municipality's forests and recreational areas, streets/roads, sports facilities, central parks, urban spaces, and large, connected recreational areas, including footpaths, islands in inner Oslo fjord, and the beach zone. The Agency's goal is to make Oslo a safe, beautiful, environmentally friendly and active city.The procurement is being made in order to ensure proper operation and efficient error and deviation correction in the municipality's lighting installations. The procurement will ensure that the lighting installations are properly maintained and safe, and that they meet inhabitants' expectations that outdoor lighting always works.
The contract work comprises the execution of operational and maintenance servicesfor outdoor lighting for roads, parks, lit ski tracks, and sports facilities managed by the Agency for Urban Environment. Furthermore, the contract work will cover the operation of municipal electrical installations. Improvements after injunctions from inspection cases in electrical installations are also included in the contract work. If required, the chosen tenderer must be able to deliver foundations, cables, earth cables, posts and masts, as well as electrical cupboards that will be part of the procurement.The contracting authority has a framework agreement for the procurement of outdoor fixtures and the control system that will be used.The lighting installations in Oslo mainly consist of approx. 62,500 lighting points, 950 ignition cupboards, event cupboards, and distribution, 5,500 connection cupboards, 810 km aerial cable network, and 1,180 km cable network.Oslo Municipality has approx. 110 km lit ski tracks and several lit ski and ski-play areas, as well as approx. 110 sports facilities, and 50 event cupboards for supply to different events.In addition, the contract work includes error and deviation correction of lights and Real Time Information Sign (SIS) in some stops for buses and trams.The procurement borders 51-BYM-2021 framework agreement for contractor services for the assembly of outdoor lighting fixtures in investment projects.See the requirements specification and price sheet for further information.
