THE DISTRICT COUNCIL OF GRAND PORT INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) - OPEN NATIONAL BIDDING Authorised under Section 14(2) of the Public Procurement Act 2006 Street Cleaning, Refuse Collection and Disposal including Carting Away of Post Cyclonic Waste for the villages of Mahebourg, Beau Vallon, Ville Noire, Residence La Chaux and Blue Bay for a period of three Months Procurement Ref No: DCGP/ONB/S001(ii)/2024, IFB/2024/298 The District Council of Grand Port is pleased to invite bids from qualified and eligible bidders for the abovementioned procurement (for a period of three months) as per requirement contained in the Bidding document. Participation is limited to Citizens of Mauritius, or entities incorporated in Mauritius.  Joint Ventures should be among entities incorporated in Mauritius. Bidders shall be registered with the Ministry of Local Government and Disaster Risk Management as Scavenging Contractor. The procurement is being conducted through Open National Bidding procedures according to the provisions of the Mauritius Public Procurement Act 2006 as amended. Bids must be submitted online on the e-Procurement System on Monday 29 April 2024 up to 13.30 hours (Mauritian Time) at latest. Bidders who have submitted bids online by the closing date and time shall decrypt and re-encrypt their bids on Monday 29 April 2024 as from 16.01 hours (Mauritian Time) till Tuesday 30 April 2024 at 10.30 hours (Mauritian Time) Bids shall be opened online on the e-Procurement System on Friday 30 April 2024 as from 10.31 hours up to 16:00 hours at the address mentioned below: The Council Room, The District Council of Grand Port, Royal Road, Rose Belle Note: Interested Bidders should register by signing up on the e-Procurement system of the Government of Mauritius on https://eproc.publicprocurement.govmu.orgin order to participate in the bidding exercise.
