Description
You must be able to supply a sternal saw set with:
- one reciprocating saw
- one oscillating saw
- 10 blades for a reciprocating saw, 34mm in length and a cut width of 1.3mm
- 4 nickel metal hydride rechargeable batteries
- a charging desk
- one-piece sterilisation tray with instrument fixation
- accessories
The saw handpieces must have:
- titanium casing
- at least 250 watts of power variable speed control from 0 to 15,000CPM
- a keyless blade coupling
- a saw head rotatable up to 360 degrees
- a safety catch to ensure unintentional operation
The handpieces must be cleanable by alkaline agents.
The weight of the oscillating saw must be 1.6 kg or less and come with a saw head rotatable up to 360 degrees.
The weight of the reciprocating saw must be 1.54 kg or less and come with 2 saw guides for sternotomy/unit.
