Canada - Stade Premier-Tech_Envelope work (phase 2) and replacement of sports field lighting system

Description

The Project Manager, CENTRE DE SERVICES SCOLAIRE DE KAMOURASKA - RIVIÈRE-DU-LOUP , having its head office at 464, rue Lafontaine, C.P. 910, Rivière-du-Loup (Québec) G5R 3Z5, invites tenders for the construction work on the above-mentioned project.
Tender documents may only be obtained through the SÉAO electronic tendering system ( www.seao.ca or for the Montreal region at 514 856-6600 or toll-free outside at 1-866-669-7326).
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK :
The work involves, among other things, correcting water infiltration through the envelope (wall and roof).
Addition of a roof access ladder with roof hatch, replacement of snow stops. Replacement of the gutter at the main entrance and correction of condensation on the interior walls of the play area.
WORK LOCATION :
The work will take place at Stade Premier Tech, which is located at 316, rue St-Pierre, Rivière-du-Loup (Québec) G5R 3V3.
RECEIPT OF BIDS :
Electronic bids may only be submitted through the Government of Quebec's electronic tendering system (SÉAO) at www.seao.ca .
In the case of electronic bids, the bid must be submitted (encrypted, transmitted, time-stamped and saved on the SEAO servers) before the date and time set for receipt of bids.
The public body cannot be held responsible for Internet traffic for the electronic transmission of bids. It is the responsibility of the bidder to allow additional time for transmission.

Only contractors with a business office in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by current agreements and holding the required license under the Building Act are eligible to bid.
A contractor holding a restricted license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or registered in the register of companies ineligible for public contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not eligible to submit a bid; these two cases of ineligibility also apply to the bidder's subcontractors.
In the case of a contract involving an expenditure equal to or greater than the amount determined by the government, the service provider must, on the date the bid is submitted, be authorized to contract by the Autorité des marchés financiers.
Bidders are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their bid; and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses.

WORK SCHEDULE :

Work begins on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, and ends no later than Friday, September 06, 2024.

Exterior work: from early June to early September.
Interior mechanical room: early June to early September.
Work on the playground inside the nets: from August 05 to August 23 (no delays will be tolerated).
Perimeter work (athletics track): August 05 to September 06 per sector. (No delays will be tolerated)
Work on the mezzanine (roof access ladder): August 05 to August 23.

SITE VISIT BY APPOINTMENT
A site visit will be organized by the Project Manager. It will take place on April 17 at 10:00 a.m. . If you wish to take advantage of this visit, please notify us by e-mail at resmat@csskamloup.gouv.qc.ca by 4:00 p.m. on the business day preceding the visit.
During the visit, representatives of the Project Manager will answer questions from bidders. The Centre de services scolaires de Kamouraska - Rivière-du-Loup will not be held responsible for any lack of knowledge of the site.
The Project Manager does not undertake to accept the lowest or any bid received.
