Description

SBB is launching a call for tenders for a tandem pit lathe (T-UFD) with the necessary ancillary installations for reprofiling the wheel sets or disassembled axles (ventilation, chip conveyor, etc.). It must be possible to grind the brake discs on the axle bodies and wheel bodies. Up to 3 brake discs can be applied to the axle. The latter must be subjected to a measurement phase using the integrated system provided for this purpose.
The measurement data must be transmitted to an external SBB processing system via a defined interface.
The installation is placed in an industrial hall. A switchable contact line runs continuously along the track. The vehicles are positioned by a travelling machine and then supplied with compressed air.
