Description

The subject of this award is the consulting and support services within the framework of the programming project of HAW Hamburg. The goal at the end of the project is the completion of an executable demonstrator of the Klima-ACT! hub. This demonstrator includes the creation of a virtual multi-it-user 3D/VR environment based on the technology Photon or Fusion developed by Exit Games GmbH. An important sub-component of the climate ACT! hub is the development of the game hub component, a multi-user game in which users explore a virtual climate scenario together with avatars via VR and via desktop/mobile app. In cooperation with the HAW-GamesLab and the ZfD, haptic feedback via so-called smart textiles will also be integrated.The tasks to be taken over by the service provider essentially comprise:- Creation of the 3D design- Creation of the audio/sound design- Programming and design of the KlimaACT! hub- Implementation of existing components and new "mind map" component- Development of the game component.
The following essential aspects are part of the overall project: 3D design (UX design, clickflows, interface design; 3D content production: assets, animation, materials), audio/sound design, programming (VR functionality basics; gameplay programming; refactoring, polishing, packaging; interface Photon-Hub, multi-user management). Also the design of the KlimaACT! hub, 3D environment and avatars, as well as the implementation of already existing components (cooperation with Exit Games - provision of technology and support by Exit Games), new "mind-map" component (cooperation with Exit Games - will be developed by Exit Games) and the development of the game component (according to the concept project network), 3D design (uniform to KlimaACT hub) and programming (cooperation with GamesLab for the implementation of the textile interface - will mainly be done by GamesLab office).
