Description

SNCF is looking for a mobile fleet management tool to manage its 165,000 terminals. The only requirement of this contract is the supply of a software solution.
SNCF provides its agents with terminals so that they can do their job. In order to give agents access to mobility, SNCF has developed a whole environment that allows it to manage and secure terminals based on a terminal management solution on the market. To date, SNCF has approximately 165,000 terminals divided into 2 major user categories:+ A business fleet: this includes all agents such as drivers, infrastructure maintainers, on-board agents, station agents, etc. These agents need to access applications on their terminals with a lower level of security to enable them to carry out their job in the best possible conditions, but also to access so-called cross-functional applications (email, diary, absence management, etc.) + An individual fleet: this includes all sedentary agents who may be part of the support functions. This category must be able to access so-called transversal applications (email, diary, absence management, etc.) SNCF has deployed more than 250 mobile applications for its agents, which requires it to industrialise its services and secure its terminals. This means that the department in charge of this file must guarantee high-quality access and ensure continuity of service for its internal users and customers. The digital user services department therefore has to offer all these users a terminal management solution that allows a certain number of functionalities defined in the consultation documents, in order to meet the needs of customers on the one hand, and the needs of fleet managers on the other.
