Description
As a solution, the province of Overijssel opted for the purchase of a Publishing platform in the form of Software-As-A-Service (Saas). This allows the platform to be easily made available to external users at external partners. Single Sign-On is a requirement for internal users, and you should take into account licenses for all users (approximately 1,300) within the local network of the province of Overijssel. There are approximately 50 users from external partners who should be able to access the Publishing Platform via the Internet. Of the total number of users, approximately 150 will make intensive use of the Publishingplatform, which will be based on a Digital Asset Management System (DAM). This is the system for storing and managing the source graphic files (including photos, videos, etc.) and products. In addition to the DAM functionality, the Publishingplatform should offer functionality for creating templates, composing and producing graphical products and supporting the work processes.the Publishingplatform is primarily intended for the analogue communication channel (folio, graphical products produced on paper, etc.). Secondly, the graphical source files and products in the DAM must also be (re)usable for the digital communication channels (internet, social media, e-mail (newsletters)). To this end, the graphical products must meet the requirements for digital accessibility set for government websites (https://www.forumstandaardisatie.nl/standaard/digitoegankelijk-en-301-549-met-wcag-21). The province of Overijssel has its own house style and associated templates for its primary responsibility ("role 1"). In cooperation with external partners (projects), the province of Overijssel has a different role and responsibility, and the house style and associated templates are adapted to the other role. The Publishing platform should therefore support the use of templates for multiple, derived corporate identities.
