Trondheim Municipality invites tenderers to an open tender contest for the 'transport and handling of manure from Jonsvatnet's drainage basin 2023-2027'Trondheim Municipality, c/o Trondheim Urban Operations, hereafter called the contracting authority, will follow-up the contract, c/o the named contact person at Vikelvdalen Water Treatment Plant, (VIVA).
Trondheim Municipality would like, as the owner of Vikelvdalen Water Treatment Plant (VIVA), to limit the run-off of natural fertilisers that can reach the drinking water source Jonsvatnet. The clause for the Jonsvatnet catchment area therefor includes limitations for use of fertilisers involving some of the agricultural properties. Fertiliser agreements have been entered into with the involved farms, where the municipality will transport all surplus fertilisers out of the drainage basin. At the same time the municipality is open to all farmers in the drainage basin delivering as much of their fertiliser as they want for transporting away from the area.
