Description
KTS - Klärschlammtrocknung Schweinfurt GmbH intends to construct a sewage sludge drying plant at the location Hafenstraße 34 in Schweinfurt in the immediate vicinity of the joint power plant "GKS" in Schweinfurt (coal-fired power plant with connected waste incineration plant), including acceptance container and stack silo as well as two dry goods silos. A capacity of 11 000 Mg/a of dewatered sewage sludge with 27 % (min. 25 %, max. 30 %) dry matter content (DS) from the nearby Schweinfurt sewage treatment plant is planned. The drying plant shall be designed as belt drying and ensure full drying to 90 % ± 2 % dry matter. The dried sewage sludge should be pneumatically transportable and can be co-incinerated in the coal-fired power plant of the GKS. The plant should be able to operate fully automatically 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please also see the notice in the EU Official Journal. The contracting authority plans to award the entire construction works in 2 contracts:- Award procedure 1: Mechanical and process engineering for sewage sludge drying (the present award),- Award procedure 2: Construction engineering The subject of this invitation to tender is exclusively the performance of mechanical and process engineering (award procedure 1). The scope of supply and services comprises the turnkey planning, construction and commissioning of a belt drying plant for dewatered sewage sludge including acceptance tank, stack silo, belt dryer, exhaust air cleaning, dry material storage, product conveying between the plant components as well as the necessary EMSR technology. A detailed description of the scope of services can be found in the contract and the annexes. Due to the complexity of the task, the tender documents contain a largely functional description of the goods and services to be provided. The bidders are called upon to determine and offer the technically, economically and creatively best as well as most functional solution within the framework of the specifications of the contract and the annexes thereto, which are the minimum requirements. In particular, the maximum building cubatures specified in the contractual annexes must be adhered to, as the building application was submitted on this basis. There is no obligation on the part of the contracting authority to carry out the award procedure 2.
