Description
For the duration of the contract period, the Contractor is obliged to take over, transport and dispose of all sewage sludge arising from the waste water treatment in the Client's sewage treatment plant by truck in a professional and legally compliant manner. It is left to the Contractor's discretion whether to eliminate the sewage sludge by incineration or to recycle it by producing a sewage sludge mixture or compost. A different disposal method cannot be chosen. The Contractor's disposal obligation exists regardless of the quantity and composition of the sewage sludge to be disposed of. It is expected that about 3 400 tonnes of digested, dewatered sewage sludge with a dry residue content of 23 % to 26 %, currently averaging about 24.5 %, will have to be disposed of per calendar year.
The AG operates a public drainage facility for wastewater disposal in the association's area, which mainly receives domestic wastewater. The public drainage facility includes a sewage treatment plant located on the association's premises at Am Schloßhölzl 25, 82319 Starnberg. The waste water produced in the sewage plant is cleaned mechanically, biologically and chemically. An upstream denitrification is operated in the biological stage. The resulting sewage sludge is anaerobically digested. The wastewater treatment process produces around 3 400 tonnes of dewatered sludge per year with a dry residue content of 23% to 26%, currently averaging around 24.5%. This sewage sludge must be disposed of in accordance with the legal requirements.
