Description
Shipbuilding.
The contractor is obliged to build and deliver a complete and functional diesel-electric workboat on the basis of the Special Conditions of Contract and its components for a maximum period of 18 months after the award of the contract. Basic requirements/main dimensions: Length overall: max. 23.90 m; Length in the WL: max. 23.90 m; Width overall: max. 5.75 m; Width on bulkhead: 5.45 m; Side height in the central nave: 1.90 m; Side height in the aft nave: 2.10 m; Draft: max. 1.30 m; Fixed point maximum draft: 5.80 m The outer skin in the bow area is reinforced so that sailing in light ice cover is possible. The hull of the ship is completely welded construction. All steel parts are to be delivered at least as shipbuilding steel grade A or equivalent with certificates according to DIN EN 10204 3.2. The steel parts can be delivered and installed with Shopprimer if the Shopprimer is compatible with the coating system (DIN EN 12944, part 5 and BAW Merkblatt). Pipelines are supplied and installed sandblasted and hot-dip galvanised. Detachable screw connections on deck in stainless steel. Welded joints only with approved materials. All materials used for interior work, in particular wall and ceiling coverings, floor coverings etc. meet the requirements of flame retardancy according to ADN and must be lightfast and colourfast. The boat is to be delivered fully dismantled and equipped with all necessary components ready for operation and approved by the required authorities. All necessary devices, equipment, materials and necessary work shall be supplied by the contractor. Additional services will not be recognized and will be remunerated separately. The contractor is obliged to check the component dimensions specified in the general plan of the customer for their conformity with the relevant regulations. The work vessel is to be equipped in such a way that the minimum crew according to RheinSchPersV/Binnenschiffs - Untersuchungsordnung (RheinSchPersV/inland waterway vessel inspection regulations) is sufficient when sailing in a pushed train. The construction work shall be based on the manufacturing standard of the German Shipbuilding Association, the German Shipbuilding and Ocean Industries Association, latest edition at the time of conclusion of the contract. All other regulations and standards apply nevertheless, as does the latest knowledge of shipbuilding. In detail, reference is made to the Special Terms of Contract with their components (performance description, general plan and further appendices), which can be called up in the order documents.
