this consultation concerns the awarding of a public service delegation contract including initial works and having as its object the operation of craning and careening services in the port of the Pointe Rouge in Marseille
The delegating authority entrusts the future delegatee with the task of providing craneage and careening services for pleasure boaters and professionals (fishermen, nautical activities). The craneage-cleaning area is located on the maritime port domain of the Pointe Rouge marina. The property made available includes a paved area of approximately 3,500 m2 with access by sea and by land, extending to the quayside, equipped with a lifting dock 5 m wide and 25 m long; the water surface in front of the delegation is approximately 550 m2. The linear quay allows the management of a queue afloat, under certain conditions. The movable assets made available include a travellift crane with a capacity of 25 tons, booms and props and a 110 sq. m. shed equipped for painting. The delegatee ensures the delegation in a constant way in all its components including tariffs and commercial, by taking into account the levels of environmental performance prescribed by the Metropolis. With regard to process waste, the delegation requires the delegatee to invest in optimizing the prevention of all forms of pollution resulting from the delegated activity, including the creation of a watertight and solid area dedicated to careening, and an efficient and appropriate organization for collecting, storing and even treating the various solid and liquid waste and discharges resulting from high-pressure washing, stripping, various surface treatments and the application of paints and varnishes. In view of this objective, the Delegating Authority reserves the right to extend the delegation by 24 months in the form of an option
