Description
Re-tendering pilot joint collection, logistics and processing of household and industrial waste 'de 9 Straatjes'.
As part of a pilot, the municipality of Amsterdam has therefore obtained an exception to the environmental law for the 'de 9 Straatjes' area, whereby the industrial waste in the area is designated as household waste. The municipality will therefore be responsible for the collection and processing of all the waste in the area. This is a five-year pilot project in which the municipality will not collect itself but will put the collection, logistics and processing out to tender on the market.
