Specialist planning of HLS new construction of day-care centre and office building Campus Melaten.
A new class 5 building is to be constructed on the 4 900 m2 area of the Melaten Campus. The basis for the realization is the development plan no. 915 Seffenterweg / Melaten (university extension) The RWTH University Aachen intends to build a 6-storey building on the Melaten campus with a 2-storey nursery and office building with approx. 2 380 m2 Accommodation of 120 children in total in 8 groups of 4 groups each with children over and under 3 years of age-4 floors of office space - gross floor area approx. 4 250 m2The 6-storey building is designed primarily as a wooden construction with R90 requirements, which corresponds to building class 5 according to LBO NRW §2.General planning requirementsThe architectural preliminary draft (LP 2 HOAI) with the following specialist planning is already available:- room programme for day-care centre and office areas,- static concept (timber construction, building class 5),- fire protection concept preliminary draft,- energy concept including heat insulation certificate and TGA variants with economic efficiency analysis,- cost estimate,Compliance with the GEG, which has now come into force, should be the minimum planning requirement. The aim is to achieve an energetic passive house standard, which is to be planned economically, but also sustainably, energy-efficiently and with low CO2 emissions during construction and operation.
