The city of Bielefeld intends to build the new Martin-Niemöller-Gesamtschule for approx. 1,209 pupils and around 12,500 m2 of usable space. the subject of the award procedure is the services for the structural design in accordance with § 51 HOAI 2013, for fire protection in accordance with AHO issue no. 17 of June 2015, for building acoustics in accordance with § 3 HOAI Anlage 1, for thermal insulation in accordance with § 3 HOAI Anlage 1.
The City of Bielefeld intends to build the new Martin-Niemöller-Gesamtschule for approx. 1,209 pupils and around 12,500 m2 of usable space. The decision of the City Council of Bielefeld is the basis for the new building. The educational structure of the city and the composition of the student body have changed in the past decades in such a way that it is necessary to react to the changing needs and developments both structurally and structurally. This is particularly due to the dynamic development of the number of pupils. MNGES' current eight-stream secondary level I will be reduced to a six-stream system. The requirements of an inclusive all-day school will be given special consideration in the intended pedagogical concept. In addition, the school is to continue to be used as a cultural component of the district with an integrated district library. For the new building planning, the claim exists to achieve certification in accordance with the assessment system for sustainable building (BNB) with the "Silver" standard through sustainable and economic construction. On the basis of the Council resolution of 8 November 2018, the new building is to be realised on two parts of the property in future. The majority of the school's functions will be realised on the northern property along Westerfeldstraße, while the functions of levels 5 and 6 and the canteen will be realised on the existing property on Apfelstraße. EUR 41 million net in relation to the cost groups 300 (27.5 million EUR) and 400 (13.5 million EUR) according to DIN 276. Completion and commissioning must take place by 31 July 2025 at the latest.The necessary architectural services were announced in the form of a competition for realisation with a preceding Europe-wide participation competition. From the applications for participation received, 16 suitable applicants were selected and invited to submit their competition work. In the jury meeting of 30 August 2019, the office Staab Architekten GmbH, Berlin was awarded 1st prize, the office habermann.decker.architekten PartGmbB, Lemgo 2nd prize and the office brüchnerhüttemann pasch bhp Architekten und Generalplaner GmbH, Bielefeld 3rd prize. In the subsequent VgV proceedings, negotiations were held with the prize winners on the award of the contract. The contract was awarded to Staab Architekten GmbH, Berlin. The subject of this award procedure are the services for:1. structural design according to § 51 HOAI 2013, work phases 1 to 9 with special services,2. fire protection according to AHO issue no. 17 of June 2015, work phases 1 to 9 with special services,3. building acoustics according to § 3 HOAI annex 1, work phases 1 to 9 with special services,4. thermal insulation according to § 3 HOAI annex 1, work phases 1 to 9 with special services.
