The LSB M-V intends to rebuild the sports school in Warnemünde with sports/boat hall on its own property. The sports school is not an institution in the sense of the school law M-V but a training and further education centre of the LSB M-V with training, practice and accommodation rooms The mouth of the Warnow into the Baltic Sea forms the water-side entrance gate to the Hanseatic and university city of Rostock and further into the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The Baltic seaside resort Warnemünde has a significance that goes beyond the district of Rostock. The central pier, which is located directly on the sea channel, is a characteristic element. After having been used in the past mainly for rail and port logistics, the central pier is now undergoing a conversion and redesign. The property is located at the northern tip of the central pier in Warnemünde in direct proximity to the sailing port. The sports school is currently operated in an existing building on the property. The demolition of the building is not part of this task, but a room program was developed for the new sports school. The building will be used primarily for the following purposes:- sports school:- accommodation,- seminar,- catering,- administration/office,- federal base,- ancillary rooms/sauna,- (roof) terraces.gross floor area (sports school) Total approx. 3 500 m2.Sports/boat hall:- sports hall,- weight room,- changing room/sanitary facilities,- boat store.gross floor area (sports/boat hall) Total approx. 1 700 m2.the current general schedule is attached to the tender documents and envisages moving into the building in the second quarter of 2023.
