Architectural services of work phases 2 to 9 are to be awarded for the continuation of the redevelopment of the Hermann-Hesse-Gymnasium school site. The main focus is on strengthening the school location and adapting the sports hall to the model room programme and to contemporary standards. The estimated total costs of the measure amount to EUR 4.7 million.the sports hall is used by the Hermann-Hesse-Gymnasium and 6 clubs and has a gross floor area of 1,354 square meters.according to the substance survey (see attachment), the following defects exist in the sports hall:- missing 2nd floor, which is not in the building Escape route,- lack of barrier-free access,- damage to the external supports and facades,- harmful substances (including mineral fibre in hall ceilings),- energy-related defects,- fire protection defects,- defective parquet flooring in the sports hall floors, inadequate impact protection,- building services and electrical installations in need of renewal,- unhygienic sanitary rooms and changing rooms in the head building,- repair defects in the staircase, windows, roof, walls etc,- Damage to the adjoining courtyard wall (between the sports hall and the main school building).The renovation of the sports hall in accordance with the regulations for listed buildings should include the following measures:- construction of a second escape route,- creation of barrier-free access, including elevator and disabled WC,- floor plan optimisation in the head-end building, installation of sufficient sanitary rooms,- adding a storey to the head-end building (optional),- concrete renovation of facades and supports,- renovation of building services, heating, electrical, amok and house alarm,- insulation of the roof and floor,- window renovation and sun protection,- renovation of hall parts with sports floor, baffle walls etc,- Creation of modern standards in the changing rooms and sanitary facilities,- thermal insulation measures,- fire protection measures,- roof upgrading including production PV-Ready according to the requirements of the EEG, if necessary solar collectors on the roof,- renovation of the adjacent courtyard wall (between the sports hall and the main school building).The other specialist planners (such as HLS and ELT) will be commissioned separately by the client and are to be co-ordinated by the architect.the school management of the Hermann-Hesse-Gymnasium and the sports promotion department (school and sports office) are to be involved as representatives of the associations' interests and the interests are to be taken into account.the measure is supported by the programme for the protection of historic buildings and monuments. Coordination of monument conservation is part of the basic services and must be taken into account in every planning and construction phase.as the approval for the addition of the head building is not yet available at the present time, it will be commissioned optionally.the construction period is planned between 2021 and 2024 and is expected to last 2 years.
