Sectoral planning services for structural design according to Part 4 Section 1 HOAI, work phases 2-6 as well as special services of work phases 3, 4 and 8 for the new construction of a correctional facility in Rottweil and object planning services according to Part 3 Section 3 HOAI work phases 2-4 and 6-8 for the construction pit lining and excavation pit required for the implementation of the construction project.
The aim is to implement the design task for the new construction of the correctional facility in Rottweil Esch, which was announced in the planning competition for building design for buildings and outdoor facilities.

The room programme comprises 24 648 m
NUF.
The requirement includes detention buildings for approx. 500 prisoners, workshops with traffic loads of up to 25 kN/m
Storage areas, administration areas, a gate guard, medical department, sports hall and an outdoors detention centre for approx. 30 prisoners.
The total construction costs amount to EUR 153 million excluding VAT.
Construction is scheduled to run from April 2022 to June 2026.
For optimized project execution and in order to ensure the project goals of costs, deadlines and quality in the best possible way, at least the main disciplines of building planning, structural design and technical building equipment are involved in the application of BIM and work together both internally and in a coordinated cooperation in the BIM method.
In principle, the state guidelines for the construction of prisons in Baden-Württemberg (LRL-V) must be observed in the construction of the new correctional facility.
The construction project is classified as VS-NfD (classified material for official use only). Every employee who has access to the project documents must undergo a security check in prisons carried out by the State Criminal Police Office.
