Energy industry shared service processes (T-Netz)Reference number of the announcement: 2023-10-WWNDie Westfalen Weser Netz GmbH (WWN) is active in its own network area in the market roles of distribution network operator (DSO) for the electricity and gas divisions and in the market role of basic metering point operator (MSO). In addition, WWN provides services for two other municipal utilities (hereinafter referred to as "Geschäftsbesorgungen/GSB") in the market role VNB and MSB (only gas division).The subject of this tender procedure is the procurement of services in a BPaaS model for the market roles VNB and MSB (electricity and gas), as well as for the GSB in the market role VNB and MSB (gas division) and an upstream transition project.The specifications associated with this invitation to tender serve to describe the technical and functional requirements for the procurement of the BPO services together with the necessary transition of Westfalen Weser Netz GmbH (hereinafter also referred to as WWN or Client or AG) as part of the project "Energy Management Shared Service Processes (T-Netz)".
In view of the relevance of the scope of services to be awarded for the company as a whole, WWN expects a future contractor to have a high level of competence and expertise in the implementation of BPaaS services, a professional model of cooperation and professional IT service management processes, an open approach to innovations for process optimization and digitization, and a focus on qualitative, lean, and cost-efficient processes.The following service components are part of this tender:In the market role of DSO and MAM (electricity and gas divisions), the specific scope of services includes the following areas:- Billing of procurement- Billing of feed-in- Billing of ESA- Billing of MAM- Data processing of equipment- Energy data management- Receivables management- Customer contact management- Market partner change processes- Measured value recording- Switching and control- Fault management- Interruptions and restores incl. field service change processes in metering- Switching and control- Interruptions and restores incl. field service change processes in metering. The same performance requirements apply to the GSB in the market role VNB and MSB as to the market role VNB and MSB of the AG in the gas division.In addition, the market role superordinate services reporting/reporting and input/output management are requested.
