Description
SECURITY EQUIPMENT RENOVATION 02 X-RAY BODY SCANNER, SANTIAGO SUR PREVENTIVE DETENTION CENTER AND COLINA II PENITENTIARY COMPLIANCE CENTER.
That, GENCHI is a Public Service under the Ministry of Justice, whose purpose is to attend, monitor and contribute to the social reintegration of persons who, by resolution of the competent authorities, are detained or deprived of their liberty, and to fulfill the other functions indicated by law. Likewise, the power delegated to this Regional Director, to issue all acts and sign all supply and service contracts, in accordance with Law No. 19,886 and its regulations, whose amount does not exceed 8,000 UTM, over that amount, the respective delegation must be requested to the National Director, in relation to the provisions of the regulatory bodies indicated in the citations of this administrative act. Likewise, the Metropolitan Regional Government is the body in charge of the higher administration of the region, which is concerned with the harmonious and equitable development of the territory, promoting its economic, social and cultural development, taking into account the preservation and improvement of the environment and participation, being able to develop its competences directly or with the collaboration of other bodies of the State Administration. In effect, both Institutions subscribed the Agreement approved by Res. Ex. of Vistos 7 of the present resolution, in which the Government of Santiago as principal and our Gendarmería de Chile as Technical Unit, in a coordinated manner require the present contracting.
