Description
Introduction : Description of the Proposal: Integral services to certify up to 100 workshops or companies related to the proper handling of transformers contaminated with Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs). Estimated duration: 5 months under a "Long-Term Agreement", subject to good performance of the supplier. Start date: June 2024 End date: November 2024 Project Number and Title: 00092730 FSP Environmentally Sound Management and Destruction of PCBs in Mexico: Second Stage Objective: To certify up to 100 electrical transformer maintenance, repair and/or manufacturing workshops for implementing good practices during their maintenance services or backwashing of electrical transformers to avoid cross contamination by PCBs. Certify those workshops that meet the criteria established in the certification protocol to verify compliance with environmental obligations. Supervisor: Project Coordinating Unit (PCU) Travel Description: Refer to Annex 4 List of workshops. All travel expenses (per diem, airfare, transfers) foreseen should be included in the financial proposal. This includes all travel to join workstations/repatriation. In general, UNDP will not accept travel costs in excess of economy class tickets. If an individual consultant wishes to travel in a higher class, the costs will be borne by the consultant. Place of work: The bidder will be required to visit the sites of the maintenance workshops in different states. Location of workshops in different states of Mexico (see Annex 4 List of Workshops). Form of Payment: Payments will be made upon delivery and approval of the information of each verified and/or certified workshop. If the selected company is unable to certify a workshop due to an external factor, it will only be paid 85% of the amount established in the contract for verification services. It is intended that at least 80 of the 100% workshops will be certified. The products will be reviewed and approved by personnel from the PCU and SEMARNAT's DGGIMAR. Prior to the elaboration of any work, the supplier must send a quotation based on the agreed rate. Dedication: Partial
