Description
In the courts and public prosecutor's offices, due to legal framework conditions, the case file must be kept electronically throughout the country by 1.1.2026 at the latest. The "electronic integration portal (eIP)" was jointly developed in the development network (a consortium) from several countries. Even after the introduction of electronic file management, there will still be paper receipts in the judiciary. For further processing, these must be digitised by scanning and transferred to the electronic file. In order to avoid double filing, this scanning shall be carried out in a secure and standardised manner in order to obtain a reliable and legally compliant scan for the electronic file. In particular, the legal requirements of the codes of procedure and TR RESISCAN must be taken into account. In order to be able to scan legally compliant (i.e. replacing) with eIP within the framework of electronic file management, a scan system was developed in the above-mentioned cross-national development network, which integrates itself into the existing software landscape of the justice system (in particular the electronic integration portal eIP and the electronic communication platform eKP) and fits seamlessly into the work processes required by the justice system. For this purpose, the scan system contains special judicial scan processes that require the use of various standard software components. This includes in particular the products OpenText Captiva and Foxit Rendition Server. These licenses and the necessary maintenance and support services are to be procured.
